This is unfortunate! This is absurd!

Which way Nigeria...
Is this the Nigeria that our founding fathers fought for?
Is this the Nigeria Florence Shaw saw?
Is this the Nigeria we wish our children yet unborn?
Because I do not belong to a particular religion, does that make me less human?
So many questions, yet no answer...
I weep for my country, I weep for the innocent blood shed on Nigerian soil by fellow Nigerians,
What an error!

With gratitude to God in my heart I write this because my brother was mysteriously saved from a bomb blast at Maidugiri, Lord I thank you for You still answer prayers.
Yet it has left a sour taste in my mouth by bringing to my memory the sad picture of those that has been burnt alive or bombed to pieces.

Yet I say we shall overcome someday!
when will this day be?
